Your lawyer should make you money.

The right legal work creates value — it doesn't just guard against loss. Good counsel helps you build the business, protect what you've built, enforce what you're owed, recover what's due, and get legal work off your desk so you can run the business.

03 · Enforce

Attorney Demand Letter

$450 Flat fee.
Covers one matter.

When someone owes the business money, fails to perform an obligation, or creates a problem requiring formal intervention, put an attorney behind the demand.

  • Attorney review of the dispute and supporting material
  • Preparation and transmission of one formal demand letter

Negotiation, litigation, multiple rounds of correspondence, and additional legal work are not automatically included in the $450 flat fee.

Send a Demand

The Economics

The cheapest option isn't always doing it yourself.

A business owner can form an entity without a lawyer. A business owner can attempt a trademark filing. A business owner can send his or her own demand. All of that is true.

The relevant question isn't what a lawyer costs. It's what getting it wrong — or waiting until later to get it right — costs the business. A defective formation, a mark that was never actually available, or a demand that reads as a bluff can be more expensive to unwind than the legal work would have been to do correctly the first time. Treated that way, legal counsel is a rational allocation of business resources, not overhead.

For scale: the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Legal Reform put small businesses' share of U.S. commercial liability costs at $160 billion in 2021 alone — one data point on what unmanaged legal exposure costs businesses broadly. Read the study →
